Hoa Nghiem Buddhist College (HNBC) offers children an environment grounded in Buddhist philosophy, where they develop their quality of learning as well as their quality of being. Preparing for Foundation is for the whole family, not just for your child. From the school routines to family arrangement on drop off and pickup, before and after school care etc... We will work together with your family.
At our school, our curriculum is set in a systemic way, incorporates the Buddhist approach through our HNPS Awareness program and its close connection to the science and thinking of Biomimicry as well as the 4 dimensions of Learning to Be in the 21st Century: Learning to Be Wise, Learning to Learn Holistically, Learning to Do Ethically and Learning to Live Together.
HNBC unique approach to education has proven the increase of our students’ quality of being as well as their exceptional quality of learning, which is reflected in our NAPLAN results showing performances above the Australian National Standard in all areas.
This systemic thinking and approach to wellbeing and learning help our students understand the challenges and opportunities of their time, and provide them with knowledge, strength, creativity and courage to question and imagine sustainable solutions for the present and the future.
