As a Head of Curriculum, I make sure that our programs and teaching align with the Victorian Curriculum framework, and I encourage our educational team to always connect their teaching with the world beyond the walls of the classroom. I also develop and coordinate a whole school approach to data collection and analyse and ensure the viability of teaching and planning documentation.
As an Enrichment Coordinator, I am committed to enhancing all aspects of students learning and tailoring programs for students with additional needs to support their engagement and academic growth. I always encourage students to live in the moment according to the Buddhist practice by developing their focus when involved in learning activities. Another part of my role is, in an ongoing way, to mentor teachers in different aspects of the curriculum to enhance their pedagogical expertise. I support them to identify possible blocks in student learning and to collaboratively intervene as a team to unblock the points of resistance within their learning.
It is a delight to work with such a dedicated and enthusiastic team of teachers who are always eager to further their knowledge and skills to guide their students towards intellectual growth as well as emotional and physical wellbeing.
